Again, I have the exact same complaint as the previous book in this series: the protagonist defies common sense repeatedly and makes bad choices. I just wanted to shake Christine and be like "Why?! Why would you even think this?!"I loved Alec, though. He was a worthy character. And Christine was a great character in every way except when it came to her family and making decisions about relationships. Aside from those terribly important things... I really liked her! That doesn't really feel like a compliment, though, does it? Because those are her two big things in this story. Her relationship with her family and the relationship. Whatever. I still liked her, even though I wanted to shake her. And send her to therapy.
