Sins of the Angels

Sins of the Angels (The Grigori Legacy) - Linda Poitevin Wow... We get 75% of the way through the book before the heroine decides to stop denying the reality that keeps smacking her in the face.I would have put this book down and forgotten about it had I not already done the same to two PNRs in the last 3 days. I felt like I really needed to finish a book or find a new genre to crack out on.I appreciate an author's desire to make their characters 'realistic and human', but I don't know anyone that can hold down a law enforcement job while simultaneously ignoring every scrap of evidence presented to her. That ain't realistic, that's being contrary for no other reason than to have a little struggle/drama in the book. And it's annoying.I will say that the 'major crime scene' was described perfectly. Perfect balance of horror, gore, and emotion to make you picture it without being too grossed out to continue reading.
