I usually don't really enjoy the enemies-to-lovers story line, but it worked well this time. Fun banter and genuine tenderness between the characters. Ultra light BDSM, with a focus on domination/submission and mild bondage. My only real complaint is that I knew who the bad guy was as soon as they were introduced. I couldn't believe Jaime didn't even consider it when he was making a mental list of enemies. And that Cass didn't suggest it when she found out about the threat. They graduated magna cum laude and summa cum laude, respectively. They shouldn't have been that damn clueless. Other than that, I wasn't real pleased with Cass running away, but I think I disliked it because it was so typical, not that it was weak or out of character.
