I didn't realize that the Thunder Point series was more about a group of people than it was about individual couples. The previous book sounded like it was about Sarah and Cooper, but we spent lots of time with Gina and Mac. This book sounded like it was about Gina and Mac, but we also spent a good but of time with Sarah and Cooper. The drama of Mac's ex gets very little page time and Cooper's drama is given equal attention. So while the stories are still enjoyable, the blurbs are highly misleading. I thought I was going to read about Gina and Mac struggling to fight for their relationship in the face of Mac's ex, when that doesn't happen at all. These stories are more like soap operas, focusing on a group of people in a small town and their daily dramas.
