Harmony Black (Harmony Black Series Book 1)

Harmony Black (Harmony Black Series Book 1) - Craig Schaefer Loooved it. So good. I wasn't sure how this was going to go. None of my friends have read this and it seemed like most of the reviews I read were glowing, but were written by people that don't read the same genres as I do. But this book was awesome!

My only complaint is that our Federal Agents are told repeatedly that they don't understand what they're up against (and they pretty much don't). "Run away and live another day" seems to be the theme, with everyone warning the Feds that this is way beyond them (and it pretty much is). But Harmony and Jessie respond the same way each time - "But... but we have guns!" Right. You just shot a demon in the face twice and she came back for more. Your guns are obviously not as effective as you had anticipated.

But in the grand scheme of things, that's a weak complaint and not enough to effect my rating or enjoyment of the story. Actually, after the third time I found it amusing.

Gonna grab the sequel ASAP and check out Schaefer's other work.
