Quite often Eve will have dreams that she'll later see as almost prophetic. Her subconscious putting the puzzle together faster than she realizes. So it drives me absofuckinglutely insane when she ignores her dreams. I knew who the bad guy was halfway through the book because his name corresponded to something in her dream. And I'm not a freaking police detective! Ugh, a lot of this story was cops was running around chasing dead ends, so clues really stood out to me. But not to Eve. And that was frustrating.

Still a great story, as usual. But I wanted it to be a 5 star read and it wasn't.
