Sweet Dreams

Sweet Dreams - Kristen Ashley “Tate,” I kept whispering, calling him by his name for the first time ever.
“Tate,” I breathed.
“Tate,” was all I could say.
“Tate!” I cried but he kept going.
“Tate,” I snapped but he was concentrating on studying my body.
“Tate,” I repeated but said no more because his head bent and he kissed me.
“Tate,” I whispered.
“Tate.”
“Tate!” I cried and pulled back against the wall.
“Tate?”
“Tate,” I whispered, wrapped my arms around my middle.
I twisted my head to look at him. “Tate!”
“Tate?” I called, super quiet.
“Tate?”
“Tate?”
“Tate,” I whispered.
“Tate!”
"Tate.”
“Tate.” It was a whimper.
“Tate.”
I tore my mouth from his and moaned, “Tate.”
“Tate!” I snapped, yanking at his hand to no avail.
“Tate,” I whispered.
“Tate,” I breathed.
“Tate,” I was still whispering.
“Tate,” I breathed.
“Tate,” I whispered.
“Tate.”
“Tate,” I whispered.
I launched myself from the bed at him, exclaiming, “Tate!”
“Tate…” I said softly and didn’t carry on.
“Tate,” I whispered.
“Tate?”
“Tate,” I breathed as I moved my hips to press into his hand.
My hands went to his forearm and I shrieked a girlie, “Tate!”
“Tate!” I girlie shrieked again.
“Tate,” I called and his eyes came to me.
“Tate?” I called and his gaze lifted to my eyes.
“Tate –”
“Tate –”
“Tate!” I snapped.

That is every single instance of Laurie saying "Tate" as a complete sentence from the first quarter of the book. Yes, this is only a small sampling. Alarming, considering I did not use all the times she started a sentence with "Tate", but was interrupted (except at the end for my own lulz). Double this sampling to include those because he interrupts her constantly after she shouts his name, then quadruple it to take into consideration that I don't have the time or energy to go through more than a quarter of this book looking for a word I can barely stomach right now, and you'll have a general idea of how many times Laurie screams Tate's name in this book.

If I never see the name "Tate" again, it will still be too soon.
