An epilogue would have been nice, but otherwise I really enjoyed this one. Bailey isn't my type of heroine - on emotional lock-down and stubbornly determined to never change. But in this life or death situation, she couldn't stay closed off behind her protective walls, so I ended up liking her pretty quickly. Cam is mmm mmm good. And even though I read this two years ago, I had forgotten about the twist and loved the shock of it all over again. The reveal and wrap up were a little too quick for my liking and as I said, an epilogue would have been a cherry on top, but overall I think this is another of Linda Howard's hits. She's definitely hit or miss for me, mostly due to her heroines, but this one is firmly in the HIT column.
