Journeyman's Ride - Marie Harte The climax was kind of a dud, but it was a very nice story anyway.I really enjoyed the world that Marie Harte built here, but it wasn't explained in any way. Things had names, but no real descriptions of what they were beyond the very basics. Regardless, I think it was very interesting and would have probably enjoyed a thick novel full of world building and explanations of weird clockwork gadgets and the various dimensions, deities, etc. I thought this was part of a series and maybe the world building was in a previous book, but I don't think so. Harte gave me just enough to whet my appetite. This was a quickie. Somewhat shallow, but still decent. I felt like the climax could have been a lot more... spectacular. It ended up kind of being a nonevent for me. Otherwise, it was enjoyable.
