3.5 stars As usual, my issue is with the heroine and her issues. Maybe I need to get back into some urban fantasy novels, because I'm worn out on chickenshit females. An enjoyable read, for sure, but reading about somebody else's imaginary issues is tedious. I'd welcome a Mary Sue right now.

I would like to say that this was a very funny read, though. As annoying as I found the female lead, she was hilarious. I mean, laugh out loud funny. Any time she mentions a moose, you'll crack up laughing.
