This was kind of awful. Anna doesn't need enemies when she has such terrible friends. Apparently 5th grade vocabulary words (I checked) are now considered "big words" that confuse poor, dumb Cowboy. I feel zero attraction for a manwhore - mentioned every other page - that can't read at a 5th grade level. He's also treats women terribly... he's kinda rapey, so why should I like him? Aside from her past, Anna was boring as hell and that's not explained until the end. I wanted to find out the big secret to Anna's past, or I'd have DNF'd this. It was a good twist, but not worth slogging through that mess.
